North Seattle College eLearning provides in -house tech support for Canvas during normal business hours, Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.; Phone calls and e-mails after these times will be answered the next business day.

If you are enrolled in a course that uses a technology other than NSC Canvas such as Moodle or a Publisher's Web Site, you will need to contact your instructor or the help desk of the web site if you are having technical problems.

For any courseware used there may be technical issues that could impact your ability to login and use the software correctly. At the present time most of the North & online learning technology is web-based. This means that, to access your virtual classroom, you will need to use the information provided on the Registered Students page. You are provided a URL address and
login information to enter your courseware.

It is important to note that if you are on a network with strong security, you may not be able to access your courseware and you will need to use a computer not associated with a network or you may have to adjust your personal firewall settings or virus protection to allow you access.

Canvas LMS supports the following browsers: Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer and Safari. It is recommended that you install the most recent versions. If you experience and problems using Canvas in a specific browser, changing to a different browser may help as well as clearing the Browsing History (see below).  If you still continue to have problems, please contact tech support.

North Seattle College elearning courses require active participation and students need to log into their classes during the first week of the quarter to avoid getting behind.  Please contact your instructor or our elearning office if you experience difficulty in logging in.
